From time to time, I have problems with Prime and WIN South Coast in which I have some pixalation.
This has suddenly got worse since connection up by PVR and while in Standby Mode.
However once I switch the PVR on, the pixalation disappears. (TV tuner).
Why should happen?

Maybe the signal is weak to start with and when it goes through the PVR to the TV it reduces further.

Try using a 2 way splitter before going to the PVR and TV, They are only a few dollars.

I'm unsure with this model but it may have Active and Passive standby modes whereby in the former it passes the aerial signal through with less loss than the latter mode.

Check to see if the firmware has Active and Passive standby options and if you're using Passive then change it to Active and see if it makes a difference.

On the other hand, using a splitter so that half the signal goes to the TV and half to the PVR, as suggested, may well be all you need to do.

Yes, but when the PVR is switched on, the signal through the TV tuner is fine and better than before the PVR
was connected.
It's only intermittent and only affects two channels. But no problem with signal on PVR tuners.
Anyway, I will try the above suggestions.
